WHEN AND WHERE ARE THE AUDITIONS?
Auditions will be held in late August at the Fairfield Freshman School. Auditions will be in-person by members of the BPO or other highly qualified local musicians.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
You should plan on arriving no more than twenty minutes prior to your scheduled audition. It is very important to make sure you allow yourself adequate travel time and look out for possible traffic or weather delays.
IF ACCEPTED, WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME?
WHO WILL LISTEN TO MY AUDITION?
The conductor of the BPYO and a member of the BPO will hear all auditions.
SHOULD I MEMORIZE THE MUSIC?
Memorization is not required.
IS FINANCIAL AID AVAILABLE?
Yes. Financial aid information will be shared after audition results are announced.
